Channel 4 returns to veterinary hospital Fitzpatrick Referrals, for another extraordinary series of the highly acclaimed Supervet, following renowned surgeon and ‘Bionic Vet’, Professor Noel Fitzpatrick and his team of over 150 surgeons, nurses, ward attendants, hydro-therapists and physiotherapists as they help some of the nation’s hardest-to-cure pets with innovative treatment and operations.

In this new series we’ll experience yet more highs and lows as his team do everything they can to save our pets, along the way devising and inventing more astonishing procedures and surgeries.

In this first episode we meet cat Maya who has a shattered jaw from a dog attack , Labrador Spud who is his the closest companion of Chris and Max who is Jackie’s pride and joy.

garden for safety. Maya’s face has been crushed and Clarissa is worried nothing can be done…

Chris has spent most of his life living on the streets. His sister brought him Spud, a Labrador Cross to keep him company, which gave Chris the incentive to find sheltered accommodation. Spud injured his leg while playing but Chris couldn’t afford vet bills, so was advised to put him to sleep. Noel agreed to see Spud for an initial consult to see if he could help…
